About this event:
This summer, ArtSpace returned to Beacon Hill Country Park with an ambitious outdoor exhibition. From 28 June to 21 September 2025, visitors explored a 2.5km trail featuring 25+ sculptures and installations created by around 12 artists, with several pieces co-created alongside Charnwood-based community groups. The trail was free and open dawn to dusk, inviting thousands to discover art in nature.
The 2025 theme, “Thriving with Nature,” brought highlights such as a delightful swarm of student-made beetle sculptures from Loughborough College and a playful challenge to spot around 70 “tree people” along the route. A programme of free public workshops ran throughout the summer, encouraging hands-on creativity for all ages.
The project was generously supported by Leicestershire County Council (Parks), Charnwood Arts, Intelligent Energy, the Charnwood Forest Landscape Partnership/Geopark, and Charnwood Borough Council. We’re proud to have played our part in bringing this celebration of art and environment to our community.
