Explore themes of ‘memory, place and past’ by creating a range of handmade books in this four-week project, learning a new book technique each week. Elizabeth will guide participants through creating a range of handmade books, which can each be developed, customised and embellished by adding memories, ephemera, copies of photographs, writing and other creative ideas. In week 4 we develop a rolling ball book and a dome-pop book, and ask ‘when does a book become a sculpture’?
