Outwoods VR
Outwoods VR is a new immersive (VR) experience and installation that invites connection to Charnwood Forest through the exploration of immersive play, as well as creating a digital space to showcase local community creativity, inspired by the natural environment, in new and interesting ways.
Working with Charnwood Arts, the project invited local communities to Charnwood Forest to explore and be creatively inspired by the nature of the Forest, as well as present the Forest itself to those less familiar with it, in a new and exciting way through immersive technology.
Through a mindfulness narrative devised through community engagement and supported by participant made artworks, made in response to Charnwood Forest, audiences will experience the virtual recreation of the natural space and be left with a sense of wonder, that will hopefully inspire them to visit the real forest.
