This new workshop is inspired by overgrown surfaces and florals, where you will learn contemporary embroidery and my textural hand stitch techniques. You’ll create your own textured circle of stitch, drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of flowers and foliage.
Using a variety of beautiful materials, you’ll adorn your piece with rich textures and colours, exploring different embroidery methods to bring your design to life.
The workshop will guide you through finishing your piece with fine detailing and appliqué, adding layers of interest and depth.
By the end, you’ll have a unique, textural embroidery piece to frame (choose to make a circle from 6cm- 12cm)
