Role Description and specification
Charnwood Arts is an established and well-regarded community and participative arts organisation that has contributed to Leicestershire arts culture for over 40 years. We are an artist-led, independent, community arts Registered Charity and Limited Company based in the Borough of Charnwood in the East Midlands. Our creative hub is in the market and university town of Loughborough and we receive our core funding from The Arts Council as a National Portfolio Organisation (2023-2027) and Charnwood Borough Council
We strive to increase involvement opportunities in the arts across local communities. Our co-productive work encompasses combined arts work commissioning local artists in facilitating a range of approaches including community projects, media productions, community celebrations, exhibitions and participatory arts. We have a particular focus on communities at risk - bridging gaps within communities at risk from exclusion from the arts, using creativity as a medium to bring people together.
