Songster, coming soon
A true story of bravery and friendship in the face of hardship and danger, Songster is the story of Loughborough’s very own War horse. Based on the book written by Alison Mott and illustrated by Liz Waddell, Charnwood Arts are offering the opportunity for young people experiencing obstacles to mainstream education to create their very own audio and story book drama of Songster’s Story. Using animated pages of the original illustrations created by Kelsey Bebbington, young people can explore the story’s themes and history, play and record the characters’ voices, create their own sound effects and come away with their very own digital production of the Songster story to share.
For more information including if you would like to take part, email us: info@charnwoodarts.com
