PROJECT ENLIGHTENMENT
Art & Scientific Invention
An exciting 12-month long project in collaboration with the 1620s House in Donington-le-Heath.
The 1620s House & Garden, which tells the story of everyday life in the 17th Century, will lead on an Arts and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) project informed by the Age of Enlightenment, which saw a revolution in science and scientific thinking. Artists are working in collaboration with schools, young people (0-25 years) and families to experiment with new ideas and develop new programmes of activity, with participants creating their own stories inspired by the act of bringing both art and science together to create diverse learning programmes that are both engaging and relevant.
Project start date: 26/11/2018
Project end date: 30/09/2020 (on hold)
