Charnwood Arts embraces community, enabling people of all ages, skills, abilities and experience to participate in the arts across all its forms and at all levels, in a variety of roles
In partnership with Leicester Musical Memory Box, Charnwood Arts are offering Charnwood Musical Memory Box sessions throughout 2023. These free, interactive music-based sessions include singing, music and gentle seated exercises, designed for individuals and their loved ones affected by dementia.
As we know music can be a lifeline for someone living with dementia. It can calm an anxious mind, improve someone’s mood, and can even help people reconnect to happy memories.
