We are always looking for volunteers to come and work with us in a number of ways. We can offer training and experience in arts management but we also want to hear your ideas for any projects that you you would like us to consider to help you get it off the ground

Charnwood Arts embraces community, enabling people of all ages, skills, abilities and experience to participate in the arts across all its forms and at all levels, in a variety of roles
The Urban Forest
We are delighted to be working in partnership with Charnwood Forest Geopark, ArtSpace and local artists and practitioners to bring an exciting new community art space to Charnwood this Autumn / Winter.
The Urban Forest is taking over a large empty retail unit in Loughborough to bring the essence of the forest into the town. The space will house art installations, host interactive talks, workshops and performances and offer a space for wellbeing activities such as yoga and meditation. Activities will be offered free of charge.
It will provide a place for the local community – including artists, families, students, local businesses, schools and other social groups – to come and experience elements of Charnwood Forest and to learn about our aspiring Geopark’s unique landscape. You will be invited to participate in nature-inspired arts activities and events, as well as attend interactive talks to inspire and inform them about the unique area they call home.
The space will be zoned into several discreet sections – each having its own purpose and identity: a Charnwood Forest Geopark exploration zone, an exhibition space for arts exhibitions, a People's Gallery (displaying artwork of / inspired by Charnwood Forest - anyone is welcome to contribute!), an indoor sculpture trail and lots more!
