Charnwood Arts embraces community, enabling people of all ages, skills, abilities and experience to participate in the arts across all its forms and at all levels, in a variety of roles
Could you be the next Chair of Charnwood Arts?
Are you looking for an exciting and rewarding volunteering opportunity? Do you see yourself being a resourceful and inclusive leader?
Charnwood Arts is looking to appoint a new volunteer Chair. Our current chair is retiring after 3.5 years (5 as a trustee) and we are looking for someone to step into her shoes and join our management board. If you feel you have the skills and commitment to take on this exciting volunteer role, please do get in touch to learn more. We are a Loughborough based community arts and media charity developing and delivering engaging arts-led activities to the people of Charnwood including many marginalised groups and individuals. We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Chair to work with us and champion the next exciting phase of change and opportunity for Charnwood Arts. If you’re looking for a challenge and have a passion for communities and the arts, strategic leadership skills and a commitment to inclusivity and improving the lives of others, you could be the person we are looking for.
We welcome applications from anyone with relevant or transferable skills, experience and expertise to work with our CEO, staff and Board to lead us forward. Estimated time commitment is 2 days a month though this may vary according to levels of activity.
HOW TO APPLY
We are a friendly organisation. If you would like to discuss the role, please contact our CEO Shirley Novak on 07593 980122 or shirley.novak@charnwoodarts.com, or Vice-Chair Kate Clift on 0753 5555 945.
