Charnwood Arts embraces community, enabling people of all ages, skills, abilities and experience to participate in the arts across all its forms and at all levels, in a variety of roles
Beth Hartshorne
Arts and Wellbeing Coordinator (May 2021)
As Arts and Wellbeing Coordinator, Beth’s role is to create, coordinate and collaborate on inclusive community art projects and opportunities, with a key focus on improving wellbeing.
Prior to joining Charnwood Arts, Beth has worked in various roles within Higher Education and the third sector, including supporting Arts students on their career pathways, widening participation in education, and managing welfare projects.
Alongside her work, Beth is studying towards an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy and finding joy in the creative process of songwriting. Her music has been featured by BBC Introducing and played as ‘track of the week’ for BBC Radio Leicester. She is also one of the artists commissioned for Circularity’s ’Songs from the Wood’ project, celebrating nature and the National Forest, with a collaborative album and fireside performance at Timber Festival. Beth sees creative expression as essential to her own wellbeing and hopes to create opportunities for others to benefit from engaging with the creative process. More information HERE
