A large, open, green space in the centre of Quorn, the Stafford Orchard Park used to be the playing fields for the old St Bartholomews Primary School which still stands today on the edge of the "Orchard". A team of Councillors and community volunteers sponsored by the Parish Council has recently succeeded in securing a National Lottery’s ‘Parks for People’ scheme grant to refurbish Stafford Orchard Park as a "People's Park".
