The Green Place is an eco friendly project to visit, demonstrating a working example of Green ideas. This little oasis and peaceful garden surroundings is based in the centre of Sileby, within walking distance of local transport.

We offer Green inspiration and actions for the public, demonstrating and encouraging individuals on how to live economically through our enticing gifts shop, environmental information centre and coffee corner, where you can enjoy fair-trade coffee and cakes by the warmth of the fire, or out in the gardens during the sunny summery days.

In the gardens surrounding the building you can walk and relax amongst the wildlife gardens, which includes two ponds, a bog garden, bird feeding stations, the woodland stage and organic vegetable growing. During the summer we also sell a range of plants, recycled water barrels and other garden products.
