The main part of the Church was built in 1844 and the chancel in 1902. It is built in granite, taken from the hill on which it stands and has a roof of Welsh slate. The Tower has three stages and is supported by angle buttresses. The Nave has four lancet windows on either side and the triple lancet east window has early 20th century stained glass.
Christ Church is a Grade II listed building.
