This programme was born out of a national government response to racially motivated riots in 2001.
It was aimed to address issues of racial tension, nationality, differences in religion and age equality. The term community cohesion was utilized to describe the outcomes of the programme.
The final report was presented partially as a comic book and partly text and photographs.
The report reflects many different projects and encounters with local people, over the 2 years of the programme.
Combining both humour and serious messages this is a book to think about.
to reflect examples in your own area, and ways in which we can work together to improve things.
