An AstraZeneca and Charnwood Arts 'Arts in the Community' supported project ,Trafford Tanzi was the first production in this exciting Young Directors project. 'A' level student Sarah Bailey worked with Year 10 - Year 13 students to present a stunning performance.

Trafford Tanzi is a 'coming of age' play set in a wrestling match. It charts the challenges of a young woman (in this case called Shelthorpe Shazza) fighting to free herself from all the preconceived notions which would see her in an unhappy marriage, careerless and downtrodden.

In all there were three young directors supported through the project which took place at Burleigh Community College.
