Information

Charnwood Arts worked with Shelthorpe Community Garden volunteers and Shelthorpe Primary School to create an amazing mural for the shed on the garden. Based on the childrens artwork, artist Barbara Bagley and project co-ordinator Jemma Bagley painted the designs as part of Loughborough In Bloom 2010. The chair of the community garden is Anne Watkinson, the garden is one of several on the Shelthorpe estate and the only one to have been restored. To get involved with the garden project as a local resident, gardener or someone who can help with things like maintenance etc then please contact Anne Watkinson on 01509 557815. If you would like to help Creatively for example, painting designs on fences, making environmental art etc then please contact Jemma at Charnwood Arts 01509821035 or jemmab@charnwood-arts.org.uk
