RawArt

Information

RawArt is a collaboration between Charnwood Arts, the NHS and Rawlins Community College. It runs every Monday, usually through the School holidays from 3.30pm-5.30pm. Adults with long term mental health illness are welcome. The sessions are free to attend although we do ask for a contribution towards refreshments. Occasionally we will buy in an activity and ask that you contribute whatever you can towards that.
The group works with a member of staff ,artist. or another group member each week to learn new skills in a creative environment. Recent projects have been, a group mosaic project, a food related word, drawing and printmaking project and Raku pottery sessions. We are now getting work together for the annual NHS Bright Sparks Open Art Show at Charnwood Museum held at the end of September. Please contact Tim Sayers if you are a mental health service user and wish to join the group. tim.sayers@leicspart.nhs.uk or phone on 07795475806. Or Jemma Bagley if you are an artist who wishes to volunteer for the group. 01509821035 jemmab@charnwood-arts.org.uk.
