Pinhole Animals

Information

Faye Chamberlain's exhibition is the third in the series being programmed by Charnwood Arts into the Loughborough Town Hall galllery space. Faye says of her colour prints:

"The extraordinary long exposures which are needed to record a pinhole image mean that the photographer is not always sure exactly what will be recorded onto the film. The softness of the photographs is caused by the movement of the animals."

The close up and often abstract images of these animals give a different sense of the bulk and movement of creatures that most of us are very familiar with. For more of Faye's work follow the link at the bottom of the page.
