Kala Kahani

Information

Kala Kahani meaning ‘the story of art’ is now in its 10th year of providing a forum for specifically South Asian art forms, to promote, develop and cultivate an appreciation of literature, theatre, dance, music and the visual arts.

Our region has a wealth of talent that we work hard to promote and provide a platform for creative writing workshops, storytelling mentoring workshops, presentations, theatre productions, publications, author visits, book launches as well as our educational work within schools and colleges.

Through the website we hope to promote work and artists across the region as well as advertising events and opportunities. The discussion forum is there for you to tell us what you are doing and interact with us. Submissions are always welcome, as are questions about our work or suggestions for the future.
