Games Time is a community celebration that brings the spirit of the Olympic Games to your home town – an exciting geographical game with the East Midlands as the board!

In a “games frenzy”, board games will invade streets and parks, culminating in a giant performance starring 200 local people with dancers, breath-taking costumes, music and pyrotechnics.

Join a team and play against friends and family in the lead up to this amazing show.

You can join in in many ways… be a dancer, help make the costumes, play games for fun, or just watch it all unfold. But whatever you do, make sure you see the spectacular “play-off” performance involving kings, queens, executioners and mythical creatures, such as dragons and minotaurs....
