Leicester Print Workshops Alex Palmer ran a screen printing workshop for ArtZone on the 28th April 2012. The participants learnt how to print an image prepared by Alex, a closeup image from one of her own bird designs. They then decorated their prints. Lindsey Warnes Carrol ran a poetry session which was inspired by objects with a Circus theme, borrowed from Leicestershire Museums resource collection out at Lutterworth. Lindsey describes the session. After playing some improvisational games to get the words flowing, we took inspiration from a variety of circus-related objects and words from our 'big top word tent' to explore and create several different types of poems with a circus theme. Haiku, acrostics, list poems, descriptive poems and emotive poems were some of the different types of creative writing explored. After designing and decorating some bunting with words and circus pictures, particpants shared some of their poems with the group in our circus space.

As part of Charnwood Arts Intonoshandall project. Celebrating the way that food brings people together. We created a workshop where we drew food and then traced parts onto acetate . The foodie drawing were then arranged into a completely new design.
