David George Photography: A New Exhibition

David George Photography: A New Exhibition

Mon 7th September, 2015 by Charnwood Arts

Charnwood Arts hosts the debut exhibition by exciting new Shepshed based photographer David George at Loughborough's Charnwood Museum.

David's photographic inspiration comes through his equal love for nature, water and landscapes, together with motorsport and aircraft events.

His strong technical skills - combined to the sense of freedom that he achieves when looking through his viewfinder - always encourage him to be open to new, exciting challenges and opportunities.

David started using a camera in the late 1990s but his real love of photography has developed over the past few years. This debut exhibition is a collection of his favourite and most treasured work.

In his own words, David commented that:

"There is a sense of freedom for me when looking through the viewfinder, especially out in one of my favourite places such as the beautiful Peak District or the exciting atmosphere of a motorsport event. My favourite subjects, in no particular order, are landscapes, water and anything motorsport, car or aircraft related. Photography makes me enjoy anything and everything that I find in my viewfinder and as such opens up new challenges and opportunities".

"I try not to get hung up on the latest fads in the industry. However, the advances in technology are incredibly interesting and I must admit I follow new releases and enjoy the technological aspect of new designs etc. I hope you enjoy the exhibition, you can see more of my work on my website, www.davidgeorgephotography.co.uk which I update regularly.

I would welcome any feedback or questions, either via the website or by email to davidlgeorge78@gmail.com"

The Exhibition runs from Saturday 12th September to Sunday 4th October, 2015 @ Charnwood Museum.

Entrance is free and the exhibition is open all regular Museum opening hours in the Changing Room Gallery.
