Charnwood Arts have picked up about a dozen scarecrows made by the children at Shelthorpe primary School. They will be stored in the shed on the community garden over the winter and be brought out in the spring for a community garden open day.

Anyone interested in helping with the Shelthorpe Community Garden either as a local resident or as a volunteer please contact Anne Watkinson 01509557815. They need help finding and planting fruit trees and general help with keeping the garden tidy etc.
