Storytelling at Charnwood Museum

Join The Big Knitting Group for our storytelling event on Saturday the 4th December at Charnwood Museum Loughborough.

Tradtional stories will be told in four free sessions. the morning will be for adults (10.30-12.30) and the afternoon (1pm-3pm) for children. To coincide with National Tree Week. Big Knitting Group storytellers Shelia Bentham and Tahlita Sinfield will tell traditional stories underneath the storytelling tree which has been made by sculptor Nita Rao and decorated with hundreds of knitted leaves made by the group and the general public.

Please bring any extra leaves to add to the tree on the day. There will be a free Christmas leaf making activity for children throughout the day. For more info contact Jemma Bagley on 01509-821035 or Charnwood Museum on 01509-233754.
