ArtZone Installs New Artwork in Charnwood Museum

Young artists working with the Charnwood Arts ArtZone programme are to have a 4ft by 4ft piece of artwork installed in Charnwood Museum' s education room on permanent exhibition.

The Aboriginal style piece was created using acrylic paint and stencilling techniques with artist Amy Chapman.

Charnwood Arts's Jemma Bagley who co-ordinates ArtZone said:

"It's very positive for the young people who attend ArtZone to see their work on permanent display and this is our way of thanking the Museum for being such supportive partners of ArtZone"

ArtZone takes place every Saturday morning in term time at Charnwood Museum, Granby Street, Loughborough. It is is designed to introduce young people to new techniques and ideas and to work with different local artists.

Upcoming sessions include abstract art, clay work and still life drawing.
