The Leicester Peace & Love Festival 2010 is Leicester’s flagship combined arts festival, promoting the messages of community cohesion, the prevention of violent crime and the building of inter-communal respect.

It’s an opportunity for us all to come together in a peaceful environment; recognise our similarities – and work towards building and sustaining safer, harmonious neighbourhood relations. Situated under the Big Screen on Humberstone Gate West, Leicester, The Leicester Peace & Love Festival 2010 once again promises to live up to its admired reputation as Leicester’s only multi-communal expressive arts event, featuring the very best in local music, dance, poetry, drama and more!

From 12.00 noon on the 31st Of July 2010 you’ll be entertained by dynamic Asian and African Caribbean dance troupes, uplifting hip hop rappers, pulsating rock music, sublime performance poetry, rock steady reggae and much, much more.
